Become a Star Host — and get more from Holidu
Star Host is how Holidu recognizes great hosting. A badge guests can see, more support behind your account, and nothing to buy or apply for. See what it takes.
You already look after your guests, keep your place in good shape, and reply when it matters. Star Host is how Holidu recognizes that: a badge that tells guests they're in good hands, and gives you a higher level of support.
You don't earn it by being the biggest host on Holidu. You earn it by being a good one.
More of Holidu behind you
The moment you become a Star Host, Holidu steps up the level of service and support behind your account – and it stays that way for as long as you hold the badge.
It doesn't matter whether you earn a little or a lot from your holiday home, or whether you have one property or several: every Star Host gets the same higher level of support. It's real, ongoing support – not just a badge on your listing.
Star Hosts tend to be busy hosts
Guests choose hosts they trust, and the numbers back it up. Star Host homes are booked around 13% more nights than other holiday homes on Holidu, and the typical Star Host property earns over a third more.
Looking at the program as a whole, Star Hosts receive on average 55% more bookings and 184% more reviews than hosts without the badge.
Guests can see it
Your Star Host badge appears on your listing and in search results on Holidu – and on the other booking sites that work with Holidu, too. It's a simple, at-a-glance signal that tells guests your place is a safe, well-run choice before they've even read the details.
How to earn your Star Host status
There's nothing to buy and no form to fill in – Star Host is awarded automatically once your hosting meets Holidu's standard.
In short, it comes down to the things that make guests happy:
- consistently strong guest reviews
- a steady track record of bookings
- reliable hosting with no cancellations on your side
Keep those up, and the badge is yours to keep.
Achievable, not exclusive
Star Host isn't a club for a lucky few. Around one in three active Holidu hosts holds the badge today – so it's well within reach for anyone who hosts consistently well. If you're already doing the things good hosts do, you may be closer than you think.
Does it cost anything?
No. Star Host is free – it's recognition for the hosting you already do, not an add-on you pay for.
Do I need to apply?
No application needed. Holidu awards the badge automatically once your hosting meets the standard.
Can I lose my status?
The badge reflects how you're hosting now, so you keep it by continuing to meet the standard – strong reviews, steady bookings, reliable hosting.
What do guests see?
Your Star Host badge on your listing and in search results – on Holidu and on the other booking sites that work with Holidu.
Does it work with just one property?
Yes. Star Host is about how well you host, not how big your business is – one holiday home is enough.
Great hosting deserves to be seen
Star Host makes sure it is, and gives you a higher level of support too. It's free to earn – recognition for the hosting you already do.
Already hosting with us? Then there's nothing to apply for – Holidu awards the badge automatically. Keep an eye on your reviews in your dashboard and the rest takes care of itself.
