Where can I configure amenities?

Configuring amenities is a straightforward process that helps guests find your property based on the facilities you offer. Here's how to update your amenities and what you need to know.

How to configure amenities on your property

Follow these simple steps to add or update amenities for your property:

  1. Log in to your account and select the property you wish to modify
  2. Scroll down and click on "Amenities"
  3. Activate or deactivate amenities by selecting or unselecting them
  4. Changes are saved automatically in our system (please allow up to 24 hours for updates to appear across all distribution platforms)
  5. Update your property description if needed to reflect the changes

Most requested amenities by guests

Before booking, guests frequently ask our Customer Service about these amenities. Make sure to configure them if available at your property:

  • Wi-Fi – Guests want to know if it's suitable for video calls and remote working
  • Pets – Specify the number or type of pets you allow
  • Baby equipment – Clarify if baby cots and high chairs are available, how many, and if there are additional fees
  • Bicycle/motorbike storage – Indicate capacity and whether storage is inside, outside, or sheltered
  • Early check-in and late check-out – Note if there are extra charges
  • Air conditioning – Specify which rooms have A/C if not throughout the property
  • Parking – Clarify if parking is at the property or nearby, and whether spots are shared or private
  • Accessibility – Mention step-free access, mobility-friendly interior features, or lifts in the building
  • Heated pool – Indicate if it's heated year-round and if there are additional charges
  • Shared pool – Specify how many other guests share the facility

Important guidelines for amenities

Keep these essential points in mind when configuring amenities:

  • Any amenity you configure must be available for free and at all times, unless a fee is configurable (such as high chairs, baby cots, towels, or bed linen)
  • Items available only for a fee count as optional add-on services and cannot be configured as amenities
  • Providing amenities for free (where possible) is more attractive to guests than charging additional fees
  • Keep your configuration up-to-date to avoid booking cancellations or compensation claims

What happens when you change amenities?

If you need to modify amenities that existing guests have already booked, remember to:

  • Always inform guests who would be negatively affected by the changes
  • Obtain written confirmation that they accept the new configuration
  • Provide a clear deadline for their response
  • If guests refuse, offer them free cancellation since you cannot provide what they originally booked
  • Consider offering a discount to retain the booking if appropriate

Amenities that require description

If an amenity cannot be configured directly in the system, you can include additional details in your property description to help guests understand what's available at your property.

Keeping your amenities accurate and up-to-date ensures guests have the information they need to make informed booking decisions and helps your property stand out in search results.
