How do I create a new property listing?

Creating a new property listing on Holidu is straightforward. Follow these steps to get your property online and start accepting bookings.

Step 1: Log In and Access Properties

Start by logging into your Holidu account. Once logged in, click on "Properties" to begin the listing creation process.

Step 2: Add a New Property

Look for the "+ Add Property" button in the top left corner (desktop) or "+ Add" button in the bottom right corner (mobile app). Click this button to start setting up your listing.

Step 3: Choose Your Property Structure

Select whether your property is a single structure (one dwelling unit) or a multi-unit property (several units at the same address). Choose the option that best describes your property.

Step 4: Import Existing Listing Information

We'll ask if your property is already listed on another booking platform such as Booking.com or Airbnb. If yes, you can import your listing information directly to Holidu, which speeds up the configuration process significantly.

Step 5: Enter Basic Property Details

Provide the following information:

• Property Name: Give your property a clear, descriptive name that guests will easily understand
• Property Type: Select from options like finca, apartment, chalet, vacation home, villa, or hotel-apartment
• Guest Capacity: Specify the maximum number of guests your property can accommodate. Note that your declared guest capacity cannot exceed the total sleeping places provided by your rooms and beds

Step 6: Add Location Details

Enter your property's full address and adjust the map pin to mark the exact location of your property. Accurate location information helps guests find you easily.

Step 7: Provide Host Email (Property Managers Only)

If you're using a property manager account, enter the email address of the host account associated with the property.

Step 8: Complete Your Listing Configuration

Your property is now created with basic information. Before requesting publication, you'll need to complete the full configuration by adding photos, descriptions, amenities, house rules, and pricing details.

Step 9: Request Publication

Once all details are configured, click "Request Publication." Your Account Manager will then contact you to finalize any remaining details and publish your listing across Holidu's distribution channels.

Important Information

• Hotel rooms and properties where the host resides during the guest's stay cannot be listed on Holidu
• A minimum number of guests restriction is not currently available as a configurable option
• Your guest capacity must not exceed the total sleeping places in your configured rooms and beds
